      Marek Frňka was born in Vsetín, where he lived an active childhood, which was associated with several hobbies. From an early age he was a member of a folklore ensemble. He first got into theatre as a student at Masaryk Grammar School, where he worked as a member of the Masaryk Grammar School Theatre Ensemble under the direction of Miroslav Urubek. After successfully graduating, his steps led him to the Dramatic Acting Department at DAMU, more specifically to the class of Daniel Hrbek, Tomáš Pavelka, Tomáš Topfer and Martina Preissová. During his studies, he had the opportunity to play in several Prague and other theatres. He is currently a graduate of Dramatic Acting, co-founder of the travelling theatre troupe Ductus Deferens (visiting in Peškovec and in the Švand Theatre Studio). Outside the Švand Theatre, he has been a guest at DJKT in Pilsen, Činoherní klub, Disk theatre or the State Opera.

      His hobbies include dancing, sports, music and conscious play with embarrassment.

      In addition to his acting experience in theater and in front of the camera, he also completed a movement acting workshop with Radim Vizváry and Erwin Maas's workshop - Viewpoints.

      He has been a member of the Švand Theatre ensemble since 2026.
