As Gregor Samsa awoke one morning from uneasy dreams he found himself transformed in his bed into a gigantic insect. That´s the beginning of Franz Kafka´s most famous short story, The Metamorphosis. Imagine you have a bad dream. Everoyne is having them. But you´re the only one who cannot awake...That´s the initial situation of our adaptation which is trying to find something rare in Kafka – his sense of humour. Dodo Gombar´s production is transforming not only the poor Gregor, but whole theatre – spectators are seated at the stage and actors are playing in auditorium. Come and enjoy unexpected view of Franz Kafka!
"I say, such a quiet life the family leads. I have provided such a nice life for them. Such a nice apartment. But what now, if all peace, all prosperity, all contentment should be brought to a frightful end?"
(QUOTE FROM THE PLAY)
Seats capacity is limited because we have very unconventionally swapped auditorium and stage.
